Helping Hearts Equine Rescue has been dedicated to assisting at-risk and in-need equines since 2008. With nearly 300 equines entering our program, we have successfully placed many in new homes while providing a safe and loving environment for those who need it. Our facility is currently home to a number of extremely senior and special needs horses, mules, and donkeys. If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men. ~ St. Francis of Assisi

About Horse Rescues in New Jersey

Horse rescues accept neglected, abused, or surrendered horses, provide rehabilitation and retraining, and place them in vetted adoptive homes, typically operating as registered nonprofits. Rescues in New Jersey often rely on volunteer foster networks and community donations, and most have an adoption application process to ensure horses are placed in appropriate homes.
