Kindness Ranch Animal Sanctuary
Kindness Ranch is a 1,000 acre ranch nestled among the rolling hills of Hartville, Wyoming and is the only sanctuary in the US that takes in non-primate research animals including dogs, cats, horses, pigs, and sheep. Since it was founded in 2006, Kindness Ranch has provided sanctuary to over one thousand animals. At Kindness Ranch, we deeply value both our dedicated volunteers and the visitors who come to experience the sanctuary. However, it’s important to understand the key differences between these two groups, especially regarding our farm animal interaction and safety.

About Horse Rescues in Wyoming
Horse rescues accept neglected, abused, or surrendered horses, provide rehabilitation and retraining, and place them in vetted adoptive homes, typically operating as registered nonprofits. Rescues in Wyoming often rely on volunteer foster networks and community donations, and most have an adoption application process to ensure horses are placed in appropriate homes.
