Detroit Horse Power uniquely addresses two persistent problems facing Detroit: the shortage of opportunities for metro Detroit’s vulnerable populations (especially children) and the abundance of vacant land. Reality's Chance was started in 2010 and established as a nonprofit in 2014, as a horse rescue and sanctuary it is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of horses in need.

All of Horse North Rescue’s equines come with their own stories, and they all deserve a chance at a better life. Our 501(c)(3) charity organization believes that every equine deserves a home where he or she can receive consistent care and love from the humans around them. Our volunteer run organization aims to provide a safe place for equines to recover while we help them find their forever home.
