Echo River Ranch offers guided horseback rides year-round, rain or shine. The ranch sits on five acres, about five miles northeast of Enumclaw, Washington. Trail rides are the main focus. All rides are slow-paced and beginner-friendly. Most rides take place at nearby public trailheads. Riders can expect wooded trails, mountain views, and plenty of fresh air. Debie, the ranch owner and trail guide, has over 40 years of experience. She grew up in Washington and knows the local terrain. She also knows the trails well—she’s helped clear and maintain many of them. Along the way, she can point out native plants and edible berries. In fall, she offers seasonal rides that include wild mushroom and berry foraging. The ranch also offers casual bonfire meet-and-greets and basic horse introduction sessions. These are great for first-timers or anyone who wants to build confidence around horses.
